President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will make a working visit to Bishkek on October 13 to attend the next Summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the presidential press service said.
The leaders will reportedly review the ways to expand multilateral cooperation within the CIS, including the implementation of joint programs and projects in the field of trade, investment, industrial cooperation, innovation, digitalization, transport, education, culture and other areas.
They are also expected to exchange views on the international issues.
Following the meeting, they will ink a number of agreements on priority areas of cooperation within the Commonwealth.
