Uzbek government delegation visited the Chinese city of Hangzhou on Sunday. Meeting of government delegations led by Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Premier of the State Council of China Li Qiang took place at the Hangzhou Huaxia state residence.
At the meeting, the parties underscored that there were all possibilities to increase the two-way trade to US$ 12-13 billion.
While, they pointed to the importance of implementing projects in the green energy, automobile industry, electrical engineering, processing of non-ferrous and rare metals, "smart" agriculture, agro and water-saving technologies. To this end, PM Abdulla Aripov proposed to set up an Uzbekistan-China industrial park on modern technologies.
They also exchanged opinions on filling the economic agenda of the upcoming high-level negotiations with concrete projects, on the progress of implementation of the agreements reached.
As part of the visit to Hangzhou, meetings were held with the leadership of Huawei, Energy China International, and Silk Road Fund to expand bilateral cooperation.
