Uzbekistan delegation led by president’s envoy for Afghanistan Ismatulla Ergashev attended the next meeting of Moscow format consultations on Afghanistan on September 29 in Kazan.
According to the Foreign Ministry, the envoys of Uzbekistan, Pakistan, China, Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan attended the event.
Amir Khan Muttaqi, Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs, headed the Afghan delegation. Representatives of the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey also attended the meeting as guests.
During the event, international efforts to resolve the Afghan crisis, providing urgent humanitarian and other assistance to the country were discussed.
