Ambassador of Romania to Uzbekistan, Mr. Daniel Cristian Ciobanu, attended the Annual Meeting of Romanian Diplomacy, held on August 29-30, 2023 in Bucharest.
The topic of the meeting was "Romania's Firm Foreign Policy: Solving Problems and Maximizing Opportunities".
Before the official opening of the meeting, members of the Romanian diplomatic and consular corps were hosted by the President of Romania, Mr. Klaus Iohannis, and the Prime Minister of Romania, Mr. Marcel Ciolacu.
The Annual Meeting was opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, Mrs. Luminița Odobescu.
President of the Senate of Romania, Mr. Nicolae Chuca, addressed the Romanian diplomatic and consular corps, as well as the guests of the event during the opening of the meeting.
According to Ambassador Daniel Cristian Ciobanu, the ties between Romania and Uzbekistan are built on a solid foundation that contributes to their development and diversification.
