Uzbek Embassy in Kyiv congratulated Ukraine on the national holiday - Independence Day, which is marked on August 24. The congratulatory message in Ukrainian was published on the embassy's Facebook page.

“Dear Ukrainian friends, we sincerely congratulate you on the national holiday - the Independence Day! We are convinced that the traditional and long-standing ties of friendship between our peoples will continue to fruitfully develop. Taking this opportunity, we want to wish you a peaceful sky, eternal prosperity and well-being,” the message says.

Last year, on this day, the embassy published on its website a congratulation from the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a congratulatory telegram to Vladimir Zelensky and congratulated the Ukrainian people on Independence Day.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev also sent a congratulatory letter to Vladimir Zelensky, in which he expressed confidence that Azerbaijani-Ukrainian relations would continue to develop. “Azerbaijan, always remaining committed to the UN Charter, the norms and principles of international law, respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states, including Ukraine. We constantly keep in the spotlight the issues of humanitarian assistance to the people of Ukraine and continue to be ready to provide the necessary assistance,” the letter says.

The press services of the presidents of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan did not report sending congratulations.
