Uzbekistan Airports announced the start of reconstruction of the forecourt in front of the domestic terminal of Tashkent airport. The fence in front of the building has been dismantled, the barrier has been removed and repair work is underway.
According to the project, the access of vehicles to the terminal will be eased. There will be three separate lanes: for official airport taxi services, tour buses and minibuses, as well as all cars that will be allowed to ingress the territory for up to 5 minutes.
The lane for cars seeing off and meeting people will operate on the principle of an overpass in the terminal of international airlines. In case of exceeding the allowable time spent by the car on the lane, cameras installed and integrated with the traffic police will automatically send fines to violators.
