Business forum kicked off at the Uzbek embassy in Beijing as part of the visit of the delegation of Navoi province to China, Dunyo said.
The CEO of China Huadian Overseas Investment Company, Lu Yuan, said that cooperation between Uzbekistan and China had risen to the level of comprehensive strategic partnership ties, friendly relations, close trade and economic exchanges had been established, and noted that mutually beneficial cooperation projects had been implemented in various fields.
Within the framework of the forum, agreements were signed with China Huadian Overseas Investment Co., Ltd. and Avic-Intl Project Engineering Company on erecting a solar photovoltaic plant in Navoi province, and on setting up of an industrial zone with Beijing Mingou Investment Co., Ltd.
