Bahram Mansurov has been appointed Director General of Uzatom under the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan, the UzA said today.

Prior to his appointment, since 2018, he served as a deputy, and then as first deputy chief of Uzatom.

Bahram Mansurov graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk Institute of Oil and Gas in Ukraine with a major in technology and integrated mechanization of oil and gas field development.

In 1992-1998 he worked as an operator, engineer, head of Shurtangaz gas fields management department, in 1998-2001 he was chief specialist, head of the group for monitoring construction activities on the site, preparation for work and start-up of Shurtan GCC's construction department.

In 2001-2010, he worked as chief process engineer of Shurtan GCC, in 2010-2013 - acting chief engineer of Shurtan GCC, and in 2013-2014 - acting director of Shurtan GCC.

Until 2017, he was chief engineer of the Shurtan GCC, in 2017 - deputy head of the main department for coordinating production and maintaining a unified technical policy of Uzbekneftegaz, and in 2017-2018 - first deputy chairman of the board - chief engineer of Uztransgaz.
