Integration of ATMs of Uzcard and Humo payment systems has been completed, Uzcard announced on Monday. Now all ATMs in the country accept cards of both systems.
In January, Central Bank governor Mamarizo Nurmuratov said that Uzcard and Humo had agreed on mutual integration after lengthy negotiations.
It was planned to complete the integration of ATMs by the end of May, and points of sale - by the end of the year.
Plans to integrate ATMs of the two systems were announced in September 2020. In July 2022, the head of the Central Bank, Mamarizo Nurmuratov, noted that the process was proceeding with some difficulties.
