President Shavkat Mirziyoyev inspected the construction progress of new houses in Tashkent’s Sergeli-6 residential area Monday, UzA reported.
In line with the November 22, 2016 Presidential decree, in the Uzbek cities it is planned to build 945 multi-storey houses for 2017-2020, of which 191 in 2017. 102 of them are being built in Tashkent city.
Besides, it is also planned to build schools, preschools, recreation areas, polyclinics, car parks and other infrastructure facilities.
The President visited one of the houses under construction and got acquainted with the facilities created in it.
Akhborot on "Uzbekistan" channel aired the President saying: "I have a dream, that one day we will create decent living conditions for everyone."
The head of the state also familiarized himself with long-term plan for comprehensive development of Sergeli district.
