The daily electricity production volume by power plants of Uzbekistan's energy system topped 243.9 million kWh.

The Ministry of Energy recalled that at high air temperatures, the throughput of electrical networks goes down by up to 25%, which is due to the physical properties of networks. “If restrictions are not in place in such cases, major accidents can occur,” the ministry said.

“We ask consumers to correctly understand the extreme importance and support such necessary measures for short-term power outages, which is necessary to prevent large-scale network failures that require long-term repairs,” the Ministry of Energy said.

Residents were asked to adhere to austerity, do not use electrical appliances unnecessarily, and thus contribute to the prevention of increased network load, accidents and outages.
