Authorities in provinces began to increase in prices for cold water and sewer services.According to the Uzsuvtaminot, prices will be increased from August 20 in Tashkent province. The new prices were approved by the provincial people's deputies council on July 25.
For consumers of the Toshkent Suv Taminoti enterprise, the price for one cubic meter of water for households will increase from 950 to 1,700 soums (excluding VAT), or 14 US cents, - from 4,000 to 7,000 soums.
The sewer services for households will be increased from 700 to 850 soums per cubic meter (without VAT), for budget-financed and wholesalers - from 1,300 to 1,850 soums.
Accordingly, consumers of the Chimgan-Chorbog suv taminoti and Musaffo obi hayot enterprises in the Tashkent province, will also be raised.
Earlier, the Surkhondaryo suv ta'minoti enterprise announced an increase in prices in the Surkhandarya province from August 1. Tariffs for households for water are raised from 1,150 to 2,140 soums per cubic meter, and for sewerage - from 650 to 950 soums (excluding VAT).
From August 1, prices will also be raised in the Kashkadarya province - from 1,000 to 2,000 soums for water and from 950 to 1,000 soums for sewerage.
No increase in tariffs in Tashkent city has been reported yet.
