3 foreign companies were engaged in the development of the master plan of New Tashkent. The lands of three districts of the Tashkent province have been handed over for New Tashkent.
President signed the Measures to create a New Tashkent decree.
The category of some agricultural land will be changed in order to build a new city of Tashkent:
· in Yukorichirchik district: Dustlik, Surankent, Turkiston, Guliston;
· Kibray: Iyk ota, Nurmukhammedov;
· Urtachirchik: Dustlik, Okhunbobev, Kim Peng Hwa, as well as agricultural land on the territory of the Rice Growing Institute.
Foster and Partners (Great Britain), OMA (Netherlands) and Meinhardt (Singapore) will be engaged in the development of the master plan for the New Tashkent city.
