As per the government’s July 14 resolution, Zufar Narzullaev became the chairman of Uzbekistan Railways replacing Khusnutdin Khasilov who had been in charge since February 2019, the company said.
Zufar Narzullaev has been working in various executive positions within the railway sector since 1996. In 2009-2016, he headed the directorate of railway sector’s capital construction and was involved in the Angren-Pap electrified railway project.
In 2016-2017, he was the first deputy governor of Jizzakh province. Since 2017, he has served as the director of O‘zshahar Qurilish Invest. In 2014, he was awarded the Order For Services to Motherland.
