On July 3, FlyArystan launched twice-a-week Astana to Tashkent flight, with 180 passengers carried on the first flight at the Tashkent airport.

FlyArystan is Kazakhstan's low-cost airline headquartered in Almaty. The company was founded in 2019 as a wing of Air Astana, the largest airline in Kazakhstan.

After a long break, FlyArystan resumed flights from Almaty to Samarkand on March 18.

Peter Foster, head of Air Astana, announced that there were plans to launch flights to other cities of Uzbekistan - Bukhara, Khiva, Nukus, Karshi, Andijan, Namangan and Fergana.
