Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to further step up cooperation on the implementation of projects and the development of new initiatives.
Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Qudratov held talks with the Minister of Investments of Saudi Arabia Khalid al-Falih via conference call.
According to the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, the parties discussed the ways to further expand the ties in investment, trade and economic areas.
They reviewed current state and prospects of implementation of joint projects in the fields of energy, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, medicine, infrastructural development and tourism.
They, in particular, focused development of hydrogen projects in Uzbekistan.
At the end of the negotiations, they agreed to step up the implementation of projects and bolster cooperation on the development of new initiatives.
