Sale auction of a set of buildings and structures of the former Algoritm plant in Chilanzar district of Tashkent ended today on the E-auksion trading platform.
The buyer is Strategic Development Team LLC, which offered 307.6 billion soums, or US$ 27 million for the object, or 5% more than the starting price of the lot. This was the only bid at the auction. Bidding lasted 16 minutes 32 seconds.
The deal has become one of the largest on the E-auksion platform. The previous record was in December 2021, when Do’mbrobod City Group bought a land plot in the Chilanzar district, where a military camp was located on an area of 27.86 hectares, for 266.4 billion soums.
The total area of buildings and structures of the former Algorithm is 89.8 thousand square meters. m. The object is located on 16.1 hectares.
In 2012, the plant launched the production of refrigerators, split-air conditioners and washing machines under Candy brand and the national Roison brand. In May 2018, Uzbekistan offered German companies to set up a special industrial zone at the Algorithm plant in Tashkent.
In July 2021, the plant was added to the privatization program. The object was first put up for auction last fall.
According to the USRPO open data, the Strategic Development Team was registered in July 2018. The company with an authorized capital of 7 million soums is engaged in advising on commercial activities. Fatkhulla Sadikov is indicated as the sole founder.
He also owns shares in more than 10 companies, including Adler Group Distribution (47.5%), which distributes products from Mars, Wrigley, Danone and others, he also owns a stake in Planet Service Plus (47.5%), specializing in freight transportation, and in Havas Food grocery stores chain (70.1%) and others.
