The first day of Eid al-Adha in Uzbekistan falls on June 28 (Wednesday) - this date is declared a day off. This is stated in the president’s June 19 Decree, the president’s press service said.

Uzbeks will rest five days in a row:

  • June 28, Wednesday - Eid al-Adha holiday;
  • June 29, Thursday and June 30, Friday - additional days off for everyone;
  • July 1, Saturday - an additional day off for those working a 6-day work week;
  • July 2, Sunday — day off.
