Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Ibrahim Raisi after the talks at the Jumkhuri Palace signed a Joint Statement on strengthening cooperation between the two countries and oversaw the signing of 15 bilateral accords at the level of governments, departments and provinces.
Among them are a Preferential trade treaty between governments, a cooperation program between the Technical Regulation Agency of Uzbekistan and the National Standard Organization of Iran, an Action plan for cooperation in the field of technology and innovation.
Memorandums of cooperation were adopted in the field of joint free economic zones, pharmaceuticals, transport and transit.
In addition, a plan of joint measures in sports, a memorandum of understanding in the field of dispute resolution and arbitration, an optional agreement on cooperation in the field of reinsurance and other documents were signed.
