1,560 MW steam-gas power station will be erected in Surkhandarya. The project will be implemented in Angor district, in the northeast of Uchkizil reservoir.
The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) are investing 325 million euros without a state guarantee for the project.
AIIB will contribute US$ 225 million, while IDB will provide US$ 100 million.
This A category project was developed in April 2022, and the last assessment work was carried out on May 17 of this year.
