President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sent a congratulatory message to the Chinese President Xi Jinping on his 70th birthday, the Uzbek president’s spokesman Sherzod Asadov said.
“Under your direct leadership, the friendly people of China have achieved unprecedented success in recent years. Large-scale reforms aimed at lifting the population out of poverty, eradicating poverty, and completing the processes of building a moderately prosperous society are being effectively implemented,” the text of the congratulatory message said.
Mirziyoyev stressed that "thanks to the personal attention of the Chinese President, the Uzbek-Chinese ties are being strengthened in every possible way and are being upgraded to a new level."
“The results of my recent state visit to the People's Republic of China and our substantive talks within the framework of the first Central Asia-China Summit held in Xi'an will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership,” he said.
Whiel, also Shavkat Mirziyoyev invited President Xi Jinping to pay an official visit to Uzbekistan and wished him long life, good health, family happiness and success, and the people of China - lasting peace, well-being and prosperity.
