Rail freighting has been launched through the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan transport corridor. The cargo train is scheduled to reach Tashkent in 15 days from the Chinese city of Lanzhou.

Movement of a block train with 30 containers was launched from Lanzhou station to Tashkent in cooperation with Zhejiang Union of Railway Logistics Company, Uzbekistan Railways and Kyrgyz Railway National Company in pursuance of the agreements reached as part of the China-Central Asia Summit in Xi'an.

The first test train was launched on June 9 to promote cargo transportation along the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan multimodal transport corridor.

The train carrying solar panels, mechanical equipment, fabrics and other goods worth 2.5 million US dollars will arrive in Tashkent in 15 days.
