Today, on June 9, the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Bahodir Qurbonov hosted the Qatar’s Deputy PM/Minister for Defense Affairs Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah.
At a bilateral meeting held at the central office of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Bahadir Qurbanov welcomed his Qatari counterpart on his visit to Uzbekistan and noted that the friendly relations established between the two countries in recent years had been rapidly developing and had reached a new historical stage.
During the meeting, the ministers discussed the international political situation and the regional agenda, the current state of cooperation in the field of security and defense, and the prospects for its development.
Also, the two ministers exchanged views on future areas of cooperation in the military area.
