14-year-old schoolgirl who, along with a classmate, was hit by a Damas driver near school in Almalyk, died. This information was confirmed by the spokesman of the Prosecutor General's Office Khayot Shamsutdinov.
The accident occurred on May 15 due to the fact that the driver drove through a red traffic light and knocked down students who were crossing the road at the intersection.
The girls were then taken to the central hospital of Almalyk, one of the girls was severely injured.
As for the other schoolgirl, who sustained minor injuries is receiving treatment and preparing for discharge, the Prosecutor General's Office specified. The investigation is ongoing.
