Today, the Defense Minister Bakhodir Kurbanov hosted his Kazakh counterpart Ruslan Dzhaksilikov, the ministry's press service said.
At a meeting at the Central Office of the Ministry of Defense, Bakhodir Kurbanov welcomed his Kazakh counterpart and noted that the friendly military relations established between the two countries over the years of independence had been developing and strengthening every year.
Bakhodir Kurbanov, noting the success in bilateral cooperation, also stressed that close friendly relations had brought the Uzbek-Kazakh ties a new strategic partnership and strengthened allied ties level.
The two ministers countries made proposals for the development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the military areas and discussed future plans.
