Opening ceremony of the special tactical training exercise Shield-2023 conducted jointly between the units of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan was held at the Angren field training ground of the Tashkent military district.
Commander of the Tashkent military district colonel Zakir Sayfiddinov, opening the event, emphasized that the launch of such close military cooperation between the two countries was of great importance in ensuring security and stability in the Central Asian region.
These joint training exercises serve to exchange experience, strengthen knowledge and skills, and most importantly, to strengthen mutual solidarity and friendship for Uzbek-Kazakh military personnel.
