On May 12, in Mons, at the headquarters of the NATO Joint Command in Europe, the Day of NATO Partner States took place with the participation of representatives of member countries and partners of the organization, Dunyo news agency reported.

The purpose of the event is to strengthen relations between NATO member countries and partners, present their cultures, traditions, applied arts and national cuisine

This event is one of NATO's main cultural events and has been held annually since 2005.

This year's event was attended by over 200 representatives from over 30 NATO member and partner countries, and staff from NATO Headquarters and its affiliates attended as guests.

The staff of the Representative Office of Uzbekistan presented an exposition reflecting the culture, traditions and values of the Uzbek people, as well as an exhibition of paintings and handicrafts.

The guests were treated to Uzbek national dishes - plov, dolma, kazan-kebab, samsa, cakes and sweets. The master class on cooking the main dish of the Uzbek national cuisine left a warm impression on the participants.

high assessment was given at the event to the current dynamics of cooperation between Uzbekistan and NATO, it was emphasized that the participation of representatives of our country in the activities of the organization is growing both in quantitative and qualitative terms.
