On May 12, 2023, the concert of the Romanian jazz band “Ineffable” will take place in Tashkent. The concert will be held at 19:30 in the open area of the Palace of International Forums in Tashkent as part of the seventh International Jazz Festival, organized by the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Art of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the support of UNESCO.

The “Ineffable” band was formed in the summer of 2017. The band consists of Réka-Kata Regián (flute, vocals), Zsigmond Pál (keyboards), Tihamér Szereceán (bass, bass synth) and Osszián Szereceán (drums). Their repertoire includes their original tracks and has elements of several styles, including jazz, soul, neo-soul, R&B, pop, hip-hop, and other progressive genres. In January 2019, they went into the studio to record the material for their first full-length album, titled NEON. The second album titled NEW DIMENSION has been released in May 2021. On November 25, 2022, their first symphonic concert took place at the Palace of Culture in Târgu Mureş (Romania) under the name INEFFABLE SYMPHONIC JAZZ with the orchestra of the Târgu Mureş State Philharmonic. On April 23, 2022, they performed in Miercurea Ciuc (Romania) together with Grammy Award-winning keyboardist Bill Laurance, one of the founding members of Snarky Puppy. The band won several awards including „Best of Jazz in the Park” award at the Jazz in the Park International Competition in Cluj Napoca (Romania) and the award of the International Jazz Competition in Sibiu (Romania).

Romania pays great attention to the development of relations with Uzbekistan in all areas, including in the field of culture, as a link that can best bring our peoples together. On December 18, 2022, the Embassy of Romania received a certificate of appreciation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan for its contribution to the development and strengthening of bilateral and multilateral relations with the Republic of Uzbekistan.
