Uzbekistan and Spain are discussing the prospects of cooperation in legal field. With the support of the Uzbek Embassy, a delegation consisting of representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office held talks with officials of the Ministry of Justice of Spain, Dunyo reported.

During the meeting, the parties explored the ways to expand the legal framework in the field of criminal law between the two countries.

In particular, the parties exchanged views on the drafting of interstate agreements between Uzbekistan and Spain on Mutual Legal Assistance In Criminal Matters, Detention and Rendering of Convicts.

Negotiations will continue through May 11.
