French President Emmanuel Macron is preparing to visit Uzbekistan this year, today announced the Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Qudratov.
“The governments of the two countries need to make efforts so that the upcoming visit of French President Macron this year is of practical importance,” Qudratov said at a meeting of the Uzbek-French intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation.
14 documents were signed during the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to France in the summer of 2022, while agreements were reached on the implementation of projects worth more than 6 billion euros.
Also, the heads of state agreed to upgrade the bilateral ties to the comprehensive partnership level.
