President Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and discussed the ways to further advance the bilateral comprehensive relations of strategic partnership ties and projects on Tuesday.
The Turkish leader congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on the successful holding of a nationwide referendum on constitutional reform, warmly wishing well-being, progress and prosperity to the fraternal people of Uzbekistan.
During the conversation, the parties pointed to the importance of the swift implementation of priority investment projects in our country with the participation of major Turkish companies.
They also discussed preparation for the next meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council.
At the end of the conversation, the Uzbek leader head of wished the Turkish leader success in the upcoming presidential elections in mid-May this year.
