By the June 27 Presidential decree, Bakhromjon Norkobilov has been appointed Acting Chairman of the Veterinary Committee, the President’s press service said in a statement.
Bakhromjon Norkobilov (44 years old) since 2014 oversaw the Main Veterinary Office under the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources, on the basis of which the Veterinary Committee was established by the President’s decree of June 1, 2017.
The goals of the committee is to fundamentally improve public administration in the field of veterinary medicine, to develop the public veterinary service, to improve the quality of veterinary services and to ensure epizootic well-being and food safety.
