Open dialogue of tourism business leaders of Uzbekistan and Montenegro was organized in Tashkent. Reportedly, in 2022, the number of foreign tourists to Uzbekistan reached 5.2 million, and the export of tourist services surpassed US$ 1.6 billion. The number of tourists coming to Uzbekistan from Europe is expected to increase this year.
This year, the number of foreign tourists visiting Uzbekistan is expected to increase to 7 million. To date, there are about 5,000 hotels and hostels in Uzbekistan. The number of places for tourists has increased to over 100,000.
While direct flights will be launched to Montenegro from June 2023, and Uzbeks will not be required a visa to enter Montenegro.
