Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev today spoke to the Russian president Vladimir Putin over the telephone and discussed priority measures aimed at ensuring the upward trend in the two-way trade and the progress of joint projects, the presidential press service said.
Reportedly, the counterparts on the effective use of the INNOPROM international industrial exhibition, which will be held at the end of April this year in Tashkent, to promote cooperation at the level of business and provinces of the two countries.
They commended the fruitful cooperation within the framework of the cultural and humanitarian exchange program.
The two leaders also considered the schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
