On March 24, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Additional measures to reduce state participation in the economy Decree.
The Decree has approved a list of equity packages of 1001 entities due to be sold in full through public auctions.
According to the Decree, 11 football clubs have also been put up for sale. In particular, Nasaf, Bukhara, Mash'al clubs wer put up by Uzbekneftgaz, Lokomotiv FC by Uzbekistan Railways, Metallurg FC by UzMetkombinat, OKMK FC by Olmaliq Mining and Mettalurgical Combine, Pakhtakor and Bunyodkor by the Tashkent city administration, Dinamo FC by the Samarkand province governor’s office, Navbahor FC by Namangan province governor’s office, and Shurtan FC by Kashkadarya province governor’s office.
