In early February 2021, the President signed the Measures to further develop domestic and pilgrimage tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan Decree. As per the document, in Ramadan, Uzbeks will have at least three days-off:

- April 22, 2023 (Saturday) - public holiday (not yet officially confirmed);

- April 23, 2023 (Sunday) - non-working day according to the calendar;

- April 24, 2023 (Monday) - rescheduled non-working day of April 29.
