President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will today depart for Turkey to attend the extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Turkic States devoted to Disaster and emergency management and humanitarian assistance in Ankara on March 16, the presidential press service said.
The Summit will serve as a high-level platform to discuss the state of emergency caused by the recent earthquake in Turkey. The participants will exchange views on the prospects for cooperation in the aftermath of natural disasters and emergencies and the provision of humanitarian assistance within the framework of the ATC.
He is also expected to hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the Summit.
