The President signed a Resolution aimed at creating additional facilities for making payments by the public. According to the document, by May 1 this year, in Tashkent, as a legal experiment, the practice of cash withdrawal at points of sale and services through a network of virtual cash desks is being introduced.
In addition, in order to make online payments 24/7 through the single treasury account, the information system of the Ministry of Economy and Finance will be integrated into the fast payment system of the Central Bank.
The Resolution also instructed to gradually complete the mutual integration of HUMO and UZCARD payment systems, in particular ATMs - by May 2023, POS - before 2024.
