In January 2023, Uzbekistan’s international trade topped US$ 5 billion, recording an increase by US$ 5 1.5 billion, or by 42% compared to January 2021.

According to the Statistics Agency, in the Uzbekistan’s international trade exports were at US$ 2.1 billion, while the imports reached US$2.9 billion. 

For information, in 2022, Uzbekistan’s trade with the Central Asian countries increased by 17.2% and reached 7.5 billion US dollars. 

According to the Center for Economic Research and Reforms, it accounted for 15 percent of the country's total trade. 

Uzbekistan's export to the countries of Central Asia was at US$ 3.1 billion (15.4% increase), import was US$4.4 billion (18.6% increase).
