The administrative regulation for provision of governmental services to foreign citizens and stateless persons applying for a permanent residence permit in Uzbekistan through the Unified Interactive State Services Portal are approved.
According to the relevant draft, for more convenience for foreign citizens and stateless persons, in addition to directly applying to the Migration and Naturalization Departments for a permanent residence permit in Uzbekistan, an e-governmental service, was developed in order to create an opportunity to send an application through a single interactive governmental services portal (SIGSP).
The draft envisages:
- firstly, to determine the regulation for provision of governmental services to foreign citizens and stateless persons applying for a permanent residence permit through the SIGSP;
- secondly, the mutual integration of information systems necessary to ensure the provision of governmental service for sending an application by foreign citizens and stateless persons to the authorized state body for obtaining a permanent residence permit in Uzbekistan through the SIGSP;
- thirdly, to review and decide on applications for permanent residence permit in Uzbekistan by foreign citizens and stateless persons by the competent body through the automated system.
