Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov hosted the UK’s Ambassador Tim Torlot and exchanged in detail views on the bilateral ties and the ways to advance them.
They expressed mutual interest in stepping up economic diplomacy and discussed prospects for implementation of joint investment projects and boosting the two-way trade.
They also discussed some international and regional issues and the cooperation in terms of Afghanistan crisis.
The agenda of the meeting included the development of partnership ties in the field of science and education, establishment of cooperation in the field of labor migration, expansion of cultural and humanitarian relations and further strengthening of inter-parliamentary dialogue.
