Corpse of a 12-year-old girl with traces of rape and murder was found in the Yangikhayot district on January 31. In the summer of 2022, the suspect was doing renovation work at the house of the deceased girl as a hired worker.

This crime is punishable by imprisonment from fifteen to twenty-five years or life imprisonment.
The suspect, a 29-year-old man, was arrested. It also became known that in the summer of 2022, the suspect performed repairs in the house of the deceased girl.
Surveillance cameras showed that the girl was walking home from school. When she was in the courtyard of the house, a 29-year-old man called her and took her away. He then raped and killed her.
