Today, on January 27, Presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed a Declaration on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries following the talks in Bishkek, the presidential press service said.

In addition, more than 25 bilateral accords were exchanged in the presence of the heads of state.

  • Intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations;
  • Protocol on amendments and additions to the intergovernmental agreement on mutual trips of citizens dated October 3, 2006;
  • Intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in organizing the production of automotive and commercial vehicles in Kyrgyzstan;
  • Protocol on amendments to the intergovernmental memorandum of understanding on the establishment of the Council of Khokims of the border provinces of Uzbekistan and authorized representatives of the government of Kyrgyzstan in the border provinces of September 6, 2017;
  • Intergovernmental program of strategic trade and economic partnership for 2023-2025;
  • Agreement on cooperation between the ministries of agriculture of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in the field of agriculture;
  • Protocol between the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan and the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of Kyrgyzstan on the procedure for interaction in the field of data exchange of customs statistics of mutual trade;
  • Protocol between the same departments in the field of prevention, detection and suppression of suspicious financial transactions by participants in foreign economic activity;
  • Agreement on cooperation between the ministries of energy of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in the field of energy;
  • Agreement on the development of cooperation in the coal industry between the Ministries of Energy of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan;
  • Memorandum of Understanding on the construction of the Chatkal HPP Cascade between the Ministries of Energy of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan;
  • Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan on the development of priority areas of industry;
  • Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of Uzbekistan and the State Agency for Intellectual Property and Innovations under the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan;
  • Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan;
  • Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan and the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan;
  • Plan of joint events for the wide celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan;
  • Agreement on cooperation between the governor’s office of the Jizzakh province of Uzbekistan and the office of the plenipotentiary representative of the president in the Issyk-Kul province in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres;
  • Comprehensive program (Roadmap) to expand cooperation between the Andijan province of Uzbekistan and the Osh province of Kyrgyzstan for 2023-2025;
  • A comprehensive program (Roadmap) to expand cooperation between the governor’s office of the Fergana province of Uzbekistan and the administration of the Batken province of Kyrgyzstan for 2023-2025;
  • A comprehensive program (Roadmap) to expand cooperation between the governor’s office of the Namangan province of Uzbekistan and the administration of the Jalal-Abad province of Kyrgyzstan for 2023-2025.
  • Roadmap to expand cooperation between the Jizzakh province of Uzbekistan and the Issyk-Kul province of Kyrgyzstan for 2023-2025;
  • Memorandum of Understanding between the Association Uzeltekhsanoat and the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan;
  • Memorandum of Cooperation between JV LLC Baxodir Log'on Tekstil (Uzbekistan) and the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan in the Naryn province.
