Acting Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov hosted the Ambassador of Tajikistan Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda. The parties noted that friendship and good neighborly relations, strategic partnership and alliance ties between the brotherly countries were expanding even further.
They exchanged opinions on the progress of implementation of agreements reached at the highest level and highlighted that Uzbekistan and Tajikistan are ready to continue bilateral political dialogue and mutual support within the framework of international institutions.
The sides discussed proposals to expand trade and economic cooperation, increase the volume of two-way trade and expedite the implementation of joint projects in various areas.
It was reported that the parties intend to expand inter-provinces relations, communication in the fields of culture, science, health and education.
