The Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov received the Russian ambassador Oleg Malginov, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The parties emphasized that the two countries were ready to systematically implement the agreements reached at the talks between the leaders of the two countries.
They exchanged opinions on the Uzbekistan-Russia strategic partnership ties in political, diplomatic, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other areas and focused on expediting economic diplomacy, increasing the volume of the two-way trade, attracting investments and implementing joint projects.
The sides discussed the schedule of bilateral and multilateral events and their agenda and reiterated the willingness of Uzbekistan and Russia to continue dialogue within international and regional structures.
