Uzbekistan and Germany have identified ways to expand mutual cooperation. Bilateral documents were signed at the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade in the presence of First Deputy Minister of Investments Laziz Qudratov and German Ambassador Tilo Klinner.

Among the documents were:

  • Agreement on financial cooperation between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Germany;
  • Agreement on technical cooperation between the government of Uzbekistan and the government of Germany;
  • Joint protocol on cooperation between the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan and the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate on enhancing the skills of business executives (leaders) of Uzbekistan.

As underscored at the signing ceremony, the implementation of the agreements would make it possible to expand the effective cooperation established between the two countries in public healthcare, vocational education, financial sector and development of urban economy with the financial support of the German Federation.
