Acting Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov hosted the Ambassador of Azerbaijan Huseyn Guliev, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
Reportedly, the Uzbek-Azerbaijani strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation ties are rapidly developing in all areas through to regular and effective dialogue at the highest level.
The parties discussed the schedule of planned events, the meeting of the intergovernmental commission on cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, and the next round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of the two countries and emphasized the importance of implementation of joint measures to expand trade-economic and investment cooperation, implementation of joint projects in the automotive, petrochemical, energy and agricultural sectors.
