Married couple and their two children died from carbon monoxide poisoning in Bukhara province’s Dzhandar district, and another child is in critical condition in intensive care.
The incident occurred on the night of December 4-5 and has been confirmed by the chair of the neighbourhood, Nizomjon Ganiev.
The husband, Nodir Usmanov was an entrepreneur. On December 4, they went to a wedding with family members and returned home late. Today, December 5, his brother came in the morning, knocked on the door and rang. But no one opened the door. Around noon, the door was broken into.
Nodir Usmanov, his wife and two children died from carbon monoxide. Another child is reported to be in critical condition in the hospital. Two of the children who died were of school age, one was of preschool age.
Earlier it was reported that in Pap district of Namangan province, three people died from carbon monoxide poisoning, including a six-year-old child.
Also, in Fergana, the newlyweds died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Earlier, the Ministry of Health reported that even a small amount of carbon monoxide was enough to poison a body.
