The State Assets Management Agency announced that it engaged international consultants and audit companies for the privatization of 99.02% of the block of shares in Ferganaazot.
According to the roadmap developed jointly with the International Finance Corporation and agreed with the ministries and departments involved, as well as the decision of the State Tender Commission on attracting consultants for the privatization of 99.02% of the stake in Ferganaazot, among the Big Four companies, with taking into account commercial proposals, experience, qualifications and competencies in this area, including approaches to organizing sales of enterprises:
- Deloitte consulting company was selected as the lead Consultant for the process of legalization and complex analysis of the asset;
- KPMG appraisal company was selected as the appraisal organization.
Also, negotiations are underway with the International Finance Corporation to attract it as a strategic consultant to the Agency for State Assets Management to support the sale of a block of shares in Ferganaazot JSC.
In turn, based on the recommendations of international consultants, additional detailed information on the requirements and other conditions for potential investors interested in participating in the auction will be provided.
