The Uzbek Senate hosted the meeting between the first Deputy Chairman of the Senate, Sodiq Safoev with the World Bank’s Acting Country Manager for Uzbekistan, Jan-Peter Olters.
The sides discussed issues of the possible participation of the delegation of Uzbekistan in the spring meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund in Washington (USA) on April 21-22.
The sides also exchanged views on the priority areas of activities of the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation in Uzbekistan and on furthering the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the World Bank.
